Now that we’re all spending a lot of time at home, we’ve started rounding up some of the best things to do while you’re there.
Yesterday we told you about how to stream simulations of NHL games, an opera at the Met, and a ton of free yoga and meditation classes.
Today we have a whole new set of suggestions, ranging from watching cooking classes with Julia Child to catching a free live concert performed by a band in their living room.
At the bottom of the list, you’ll find a rundown of the ongoing options out there that we’ve highlighted before.
Have you found something great that we haven’t shared? Tell us about it in the comments and we may feature it in a future post.
Watch a concert
A bunch of different musicians are performing virtual concerts rather than in-person ones of Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Tonight you can catch:
Work out with the Fitness Marshall
The Fitness Marshall is offering a ton of free short workouts you can do at home, including occasional live classes on YouTube. The workouts are typically dance-based and don’t require any equipment, so you can do them in your living room.
Cook with Julia Child
Every episode of The French Chef is available on both Prime Video and PBS right now. To watch you’ll need either a Prime account with the PBS add-on (that’s $2.99 a month after a free trial) or a PBS membership. If you don’t have either, you can also find a lot of Julia Child videos on YouTube.
Watch Picard on CBS All Access
Viewers in the United States can catch all of Star Trek: Discovery, Short Treks, and Star Trek: Picard for free now through April 23rd through the CBS All Access App. You can take advantage of the deal by using the code GIFT within the app.
Patrick Stewart is also reading sonnets on his Twitter account each day.
